» ellas ()

Ellas is a Spanish personal pronoun, grammatical third person plural. In Spanish conjugation the inflected verb forms in this person always end with the letter n.

The pronoun ellas translates to the English they. When translating in the opposite direction, it must be noted that there are two forms of the third person plural in Spanish language:
  • ellas has a feminine character. For example, it is used when referring to a group of women of girls.
  • ellos is a masculine or gender-neutral form. For example, it is used when referring to a group of men, boys or a mixed group of men and women, boys and girls.
