Conjugator – Main Features

Hints for exceptions and special cases

Whenever a special case is encountered in the conjugation chart for a given verb, it is distinguished with color so that it can be easily seen and located. Special cases include:

  • exceptions
  • irregularities
  • spelling corrections
  • notes for spelling differences

Placing the mouse cursor over such distinguished location pops up a small window explaining why this particular change happens. With these explanations you can discover rules and logic thanks to which there’s much less left to learn by heart. Once you get familiar with the rules you’ll be able to properly conjugate irregular verbs without a need to memorize every special case.

The window disappears when the mouse cursor moves away, but it can be fixed in place by clicking the exception (instead of just placing the cursor above it). The fixed windows with explanations may be moved around to nicely organize the screen for further analysis, repetition or printing out.

Links to the follow-up material

Placing the mouse cursor over a tense name shows a pop-up window with a list of follow-up actions related to this tense and the verb being conjugated.

Note that the window disappears when the mouse cursor moves away, but it can be fixed in place by clicking the tense name (instead of just placing the cursor over it)

Storing the configuration between sessions

Your custom configuration may be stored between sessions. It requires cookies to work, so you need to have them enabled in your browser in order to do that.

If you are not sure whether you have the cookies enabled or not, click the Save my settings button and check the text on it. It will tell you if the saving was successful or failed.
